It is <strong>a village rich in beauty and ancient testimonies<\/strong>.<br \/>Baceno has its roots in a distant past. Archaeological remains dating back to the 3rd millennium B.C. have been found in this area. Numerous traces of trade, exchanges and migration remain throughout the centuries.<br \/><strong>A dramatic parenthesis is related to the spread of the plague<\/strong>, in the seventeenth century, and to <strong>the black pages of the witch trials of Croveo<\/strong>. It represents the extraordinary focal point of Baceno\u2019s cultural, architectural and religious offer.
