Over the centuries, <strong>the work of farmers<\/strong> has profoundly changed the natural landscape, transforming it according to human needs. The <strong>waters<\/strong> have been <strong>channeled<\/strong>, the <strong>marshy soils reclaimed<\/strong>, the <strong>undergrowth<\/strong> of blueberries and rhododendrons <strong>reduced<\/strong> to increase the area cultivable.
