Created in 2015, the path “Borgo Antico” of Croveo accompanies tourists in visiting the pretty village, through eleven multimedia totems that allow you to deepen the local stories. They are linked to the inquisition and the witches trials, in addition to that of the “viperaio priest”, Don Amedeo Ruscetta, to whom a museum is also dedicated.

The route starts from the heart of Croveo and ends at the “Marmitte del Diavolo”, rocks formations created by the erosion of water and glaciers, but attributed by legend to the throwing of stones by the devil.

In addition to the general introduction totem about witches in Valle Antigorio, located in the village main square, there are also, in order:

In Croveo you can also visit the old dairy in the center of the village and the mill on the river Ghendola surrounded by woods. Do not miss also the “Rassia”, a traditional water sawmill, precious evidence of ancient rural crafts.
