This evocative loop route allows you to walk the paths of history. The territory between Baceno and the small hamlet of Croveo is sadly famous for the pages of the Inquisition: 55 people were led to the stake during the decades of the fight against witchcraft.

Visiting the Uriezzo Gorges you can take a journey through the geological history of the Antigorio Valley, feeling the emotion of walking on the bottom of ancient streams that flowed tumultuous under the glaciers at the time of glaciations. The South Gorges is the main formation that can be visited. It is about 200 meters long and 20 to 30 meters deep and has been equipped for the visit with metal stairs and information panels.

The route follows a stretch of the ancient Arbola route, along the stone mule track that from Goglio, opens a gap through a steep ridge apparently unsurpassed. The route from Goglio is certainly challenging, but this is the real climb to Alpe Devero (if you decide to give up getting comfortably by car along the way). At high altitude, take the easy ring mule track along the plain of Devero, along which there are information panels and some interactive sensory displays.

The circular route starts from Baceno, touches the villages of Cascine Vecchie, Graglia, Crino. Between the villages of Graglia and Crino next to the path there are wooden tools and signs explaining the physical exercises that you can practice.
