Someone of them translate the name as “Via degli sguatteri”, that means, “Garbage boy Road”, some others translate it as “Via degli Scoiattoli”, that means “Squirrel Road”. This second translation indicates the ease with which it is possible to sight this acrobatic animal in the thick woods trees that the path crosses. The “Veia di Scuetar” is also the main road travelled by the herds from Cravegna to the pastures of the Bondolero Valley.
