The crag “Busin Stange”, in Codelago, at Alpe Devero, is a fun climbing gym. It has vertical sections and overhangs, on a high rocky structure from 15 to 40 m. More than 30 pitches with difficulty from 4a to 7a.

The ideal periods to enjoy the cliff of Croveo are the intermediate seasons, but also winter on mild days. Free access. Southeast exposure. Excellent gneiss rock. Rich in notches, holes and cracks; resistance to climbing on walls vertical and overhanging.
Nailing services: equipped with stainless steel fix; on many paths remain the old bolts. Stops with chains and ring carabiners.

The crag of Esigo meets along the road that leads to the homonymous pasture. Equipped with 29 single pitches, from 5b to 7b.

Lago di Agaro crag

Above the artificial lake of Agaro, in the territory of the Alpe Devero Natural Park, there is a complex of large walls with very long streets. The walls have a vertical development ranging from 150 to 350 meters, in a particularly impressive environment. The walls are at high altitudes, so climbing is only possible from June to September.

Via ferrata Walserfall in Croveo

To the north of the village of Croveo, on the hydrographic left, along the road that leads to Alpe Devero, rises the via ferrata Walserfall.
It develops along the rocky wall that runs along the Agaro Waterfall, until reaching Piodacalva, a small nucleus of huts placed on a large and panoramic rocky balcony. The name of the street, is a play on words that combines the terms “Walser” and “Wasserfall” (waterfall) and highlights its position in the land of Walser people.

Alpe Devero bouldering area

The area dedicated to bouldering is located mainly behind the Cai Gallarate Refuge, in the Cantone hamlet: on site there are more informations for the use of the blocks.

Osso bouldering area

In the bouldering area of Osso there are numerous blocks. Its exposure to the south recommends its attendance in the middle seasons, on milder days in winter or in cool summer.
