“Craf in Crof”, means “Goats in Croveo”: this is the title of the goat exhibition that, in the heart of autumn, involves the hamlet of Croveo of Baceno. The festival is linked to the agricultural tradition of this extreme corner of Piedmont, where the breeding of sheep and goats is still a source of livelihood for many families of farmers.
Every year hundreds of sheep and goats, with their young in tow, come to Croveo from the summer pastures at high altitude to be admired by the large public and rewarded by experts. In “Craf in Crof” festival there is no lack of demonstration of the processing of dairy products and breeding techniques and a delicious local gastronomy.
