Parish Church of Croveo

The Parish Church of Croveo, dedicated to the Nativity of the Virgin Maria, was built in 1671. The churchyard houses, in addition to the stone cross in memory of the plague of 1630, the monument built in memory of Don Antonio Ruscetta priest of Croveo, just where the priest used to hold lessons to capture reptiles.

The interior is characterized by three naves with two side chapels and five altars. Real works of art are the three carved wooden doors depicting the Nativity of the Virgin Mary and the twelve Apostles.
Noteworthy is the bell tower with mullioned windows, built on the rock, which is accessed by climbing fifty steps.
